George Wallace than George Washington”

Funny he brings up the point that the most racist to the core politicians in our nations history were/are Democrats and not Republicans

“ I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, “

He also insisted he wasn't from a northeast state.....he was from a slave state! PLEASE let him be the nominee.

Of all the things he's said lately that were jumbled, you're focused on one that was 100% correct? Did they not have maps or cover slavery when you grew up?

This remains one of the dumbest takes in politics. Who do the Dixiecrats vote for in 2019? Who have been their candidates for the last 40 years? Jesse Helms, etc. weren't Democrats.

Hey moron

Former Governor of Alabama George Wallace ran in the 1968 United States presidential election as the candidate for the American Independent Party against Richard Nixon. Wallace's pro-segregation policies during his term as Governor of Alabama were rejected by the mainstream of the Democratic Party.
Eh, you can't ignore the rest of his career, but you can also acknowledge that he admitted in 1992 and 1996 to voting R. He would be a Republican now.

He's a pretty darn good example of the change that happened in the South. The party of power became Rs over a generation once Civil Rights laws passed. People like Trent Lott who had the power moved to the R party, as did the white voters who historically supported the Solid South of the Democratic party.

My point wasn't that he was wrong. My point was that he was bragging about being from a slave state but, Delaware IS a northeastern state.

It is all a matter of perspective, the people I served with in the military that were from northern Virginia up to New York all consider anything north and east of New York as the Northeast. When I was in Massachusetts everything south and west of New York was Texas or how close is that to Texas. Welcome to the Texas of New England.
