Berkley's Official Statement

What happened to the days where, if someone didn't want to consume a specific part of media, whether it was a speaker, film, book, whatever, they just didn't expose themselves to it.

Why is it now that if someone disagrees with something, they either want it banned or want it censored so that no one can watch it?

If the students didn't want to go listen to Milo, DON'T GO. Don't ruin it for people who may want to hear him (for whatever reason).

Just like congress. Nobody wants to listen or be bothered by other thoughts. My way or the highway may very well be our downfall as a nation.

Sadly I see this everywhere. It's easier to talk over a person than it is to listen to them. There are rarely civil discussions anymore.
