Most points Belton Defense gave up this year was 35 in week 2 to liberty, in which they had two defensive starters out. They have averaged giving up 15.9 ppg this year.Have no idea how good Battle is but was very impressed with Belton against Kearney.
Kept waiting for their defense to ware down and cave, never did.
Very fortunate to have won that game.

I never said that they were bad kids or didn't play their tails off. But I don't like the culture that they've got there. I coach with a guy that coached there the first two years of their program. I'm not going to get in a d!ck-measuring contest with someone on the internet, but if you're going to call me ignorant, at least spell it right.I highly doubt you know anyone that "used to coach" at Battle in the past 3 years. Unless you are in that program you are also clueless of what type of culture they have created. To say that they are undisciplined and saying that their program is not ran the right way also shows your ignoranance. I have been to almost all of there games and they do make some silly mistakes that cost them at times, but their players play their butts off and find a way to win ball games. So before you bash a program, maybe you should do your research and not just listen to your "friends" that used to coach there. Because I would bet that you haven't even been to a game this year.
I believe he was going for the French pronunciation of ignorance.I never said that they were bad kids or didn't play their tails off. But I don't like the culture that they've got there. No, I'm not really jealous of Battle's program. I do think Conyers is a good guy and a good coach, but is still young and is kind of the stereotypical young coach. Give him 10 years and he'll be the best coach in Missouri (for Class 5 schools)I believe he was going for the French pronunciation of ignorance.
Don't know anything about the Battle coaching staff, but their head coach Justin Conyers has a good reputation. VERY successful start-up program. Sounds more like jealousy to me.
28** offense threw 2 pick six and gave up punt return tdThey gave up 48 to Ray-Pec
Until Webb moves to Class 5.No, I'm not really jealous of Battle's program. I do think Conyers is a good guy and a good coach, but is still young and is kind of the stereotypical young coach. Give him 10 years and he'll be the best coach in Missouri (for Class 5 schools)
Stamp it!Wow... seriously.
Battle WILL win. Yes they have the best athletes. A lot of those athletes won a state title for the school in 2014... especially the starting QB who started since the school opened in 2013. Wait... did I just say Battle won a Class 5 state title in 2014... Yeah that happened. Conyers... best coach in Class 5. His staff... a cohesive group of coaches and mentors. They are 10-0 this season. That doesn't happen by chance for many public schools.
You'll see Battle in Springfield Saturday, November 26. Book it!
Unless more injuries happen, fights break out and players get suspended, or oh yeh they lose before they get there like last season. I would not be too cocky. Anything can happen this time of year. Brevin Tyler is a class act and has done a great job leading that team. It will be on his shoulders to get them back. But by no means is it guaranteed.Wow... seriously.
