Springfield Glendale has played a major this season and is currently on a 5 game winning streak.

Here is a list of teams Glendale has played this season.

1. Class 5 Kickapoo--Lost both games----68-55 and 84-68
2. Class 5 Ozark------Lost 94-73
3. Class 5 Nixa--------Lost 67-56
4. Edmond North, Okl.--Lost----84-66--Edmond North is the # 1 team in Oklahoma.
5. Rockwood Lafayette-Won---70-67
6. Webb City--------------Won- --73-57
7. Rolla---------------------Lost----96-88
8. Bishop Miege, Kan.---Lost----81-57--#1 in Kansas--not sure what class

I'm guessing Springfield Glendale has played the toughest class 4 schedule in Missouri including Vashon and very well could be a legitimate contender for the class 4 State Championship.

He may still be recuperating from last night's huge win over Webb City. Jeff Guiot's Cardinals have been a mystery team this season. A couple of weeks ago they beat Nixa by 16 and then lost last night to Glendale by 16. I was a little surprised by last night's score. The Falcons are peaking at the right time. As you pointed out, metro-dude, their strength of schedule may be paying off here at the end of the season. Brian McTague does a really nice job! Coach McTague did well with previous stops at Clever and Branson before landing at Glendale.

A few things...
- Kickapoo(26-2) has their best overall team since the mid-2000's. Tough matchup for us or ANY team in Missouri this year (outside of Chaminade). Not to mention Kickapoo has been a tough game for us for about 20 years now regardless of how good or average we are or they are. 8-33 since '94!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Ozark(19-9) - It was 59-50, then Ozark took it to another level offensively and we couldn't keep up or stop them. But that game was closer than the final score would indicate.
- Nixa(23-5) - We led by one in the fourth quarter, but (much like the Ozark game) Nixa started scoring a bunch and we couldn't keep up.
- Edmond North(26-0) is ranked 18th in the country (FAB 50 poll) and we led them at half 33-31(1st quarter was the best we had played all year until the Webb game last night), a Johal steal and score got us back within 8 (46-54) at the start of the fourth quarter, but the game went North's way after that. Had a lot of turnovers to start the third quarter that quickly turned the game around.
- Lafayette(21-7) - We were down by...um...17 maybe and found a way to fight back and win it late. Best win of the season (so far).
- Webb City(21-7) - Dominated from start to finish. Hit shots early and played the best defense I've seen out of Glendale in many years. Post D was very good by Will Sachs.
- Rolla(24-3) - Should've won that one. Let it go late. Missed free throws killed us.
- Bishop Miege(19-3) - Very tall, talented, got some guys eligible right before the Inter-State Classic. Good timing for them, BAD for us. They haven't lost since. They're in Class 4A Div. 1 in KS.

I'd also add Tulsa Booker T. Washington(19-7), who's playing Edmond North tomorrow in the 6A state quarterfinals. Missed free throws killed us, lost by one point (58-59). And, Tulsa Daniel Webster(18-9) was ranked throughout the season in Oklahoma Class 4A - second best win for us this season. Tristan Baker made a last second lay-up for the victory. Beating COC Large school champion Branson(16-10) was another good win for us. Aurora(19-10) was a good win too.

I still think this group is only about the 15th or 16th best Glendale team (from start to finish) I've seen since '96, but the post-season results have been fantastic. Hope we can keep it up.

Should be a great game with Helias. Helias has played a very brutal schedule as well.

Webb shot themselves in the foot. Glendale didn't do much outside that one kid hitting everything he threw up. Webb cost themselves the game. Didn't come out focused nor fired up, pretty sloppy and down right pathetic.

Plenty of common opponents: both are 8-3 against them
