It's crazy to put him in the outfield when he can't throw yet. This team is still in a pennant race, you can't put guys that can't throw the ball in these situations. The I want a HR mentality in the game today is waaay overboard.

As much grief as you guys give MM, I thought Bryan Price crapped the bed last night. Early pull after the hit in the 8th, and did he botch the pen move before MM announced a pitch hitter? I saw Adams on Deck, next thing I know a lefty is coming in and Holliday is up, had the game muted so that was the only thing I could think of.

I think he would have brought Holliday in anyway but I didn't hear the TV guys say for sure if Adams had been announced. They said Matheny was asking that question but didn't give an answer that I ever heard. Holliday does NOT look ready to me.
