I for one, actually enjoy them. They bring humor and a nice change of tone in the posts. Does it get a little old? Sure! Can they take over a thread? All the time! Are they fake? Absolutely! But I think its funny, and slightly clever on how they can relate their "documentaries" to real life. If you are looking for someone to point fingers at, Stef was the first one.....

I think they should just start their own thread so they can carry on without taking away from every thread on the page.
Well excuse me for trying to lighten up the boards with some good ole Ampipe football talk. I am only here because Stef started showing up! We old documentary stars are very much apart of this board. A lot of our experiences directly relate to the topics discussed on here. I am fairly certain that the majority of high schools in Missouri have a booster club, pep rallies, big rivalry games, and coaches that get ran out of town. Now doesnt that sound awfully familiar to things discussed on here and a certain documentary.......
Ok. I rarely post on here but on this topic, I have something to say. I also enjoy them. I observe and read on here everyday. Most of the topics get boring. Do stars matter, Webb City, Webb City, Webb City, when will Bolivar play an actual schedule, etc. These "documentary stars" break up the monotony of this board and give me a nice chuckle. Plus, it reminds me how much I enjoyed those movies when they came out. Heck, I had never seen The Program until J. Kane showed up on here.

I for one would not mind if they were gone. They don't really bother me but as they have increased their presence, I just scroll past them without reading. It is kind of annoying when I see that there has been activity on a thread I am interested in and turns out to be just those guys. I don't really get the point. There is some humor in it but it doesn't personally appeal to me. I would be more interested to know the actual poster's opinion on the topic than posing as a fictional character. But if others enjoy it, have at it!
I know what you mean SW. People like Mits, who hide behind their screen name to call Bolivar people out are just getting old. I just scroll past those guys. Everyone needs to put their real names and maybe a picture of themselves.
I suppose anyone on the board can post anything the admin deems appropriate. But hijacking a thread is poor protocol, IMO. They could start their own thread any time, and I'm sure many people will still pour thru the absolute hilarity. I won't, but that's just me.
The fact that this is even a post makes me smile!!! I started talking about my documentary just hoping people would remember me and what we did at Ampipe. That was like 6 years ago... hard to believe.
When i was younger (and I was getting revved up for a night of drinking) I had an old friend that would tell me, "Stef, you can run down the hill or walk down the hill, either way we both are going to get there"
These new guys are just running down the hill, getting their post in, using all their good ideas, i am sure several have been sitting on the sidelines for years (just Like Mox did behind Lance) and game planned the day they brought their documentary to MoSports. Let these guys run down the hill, they will get it out of their system, forget their passwords, get bored with it, or run out of cleverness.
But as these flavors of the weeks go away, I can assure you, the Godfather of the MoSports Documentaries, will be here... just not annoying you. I am and will remain the cool older brother.

Stef, you were the first one of us to show up and you are the one who made me surface. I will happily stand next to you TOGETHER as the rest of these guys run down hill! Representing Ampipe has been the pride of my life. Now getting to represent Ampipe with you and Coach Nickerson, TOGETHER, its as if things have come full circle!

I agree, these guys need to get off this board, or just start their own continuous thread. How is a guy like me suppose to hijack a thread whenever I log on and see that Stef and Mox have already beaten me to it!? I have a real job that doesn't allow me to be on this site all day everyday! These guys have got to go. There is no room for them here. Don't get me started on Falco.....
