I don't understand why they can look at replay for fair or foul only if it's in the outfield. A play that becomes an out instead of the hitter getting another chance can be as big as anything hit to the outfield. Doesn't make much sense not to be able to review that. Hard to believe none of the base umpires could see it. The ball the hit the ground in front of home plate, bounced backwards then ended up back in front of home plate. The only way that happens is if it hit somebody when it bounced back.
