Just read 3 schools close to Columbia Missouri have closed their schools for 2 weeks to many teachers tested positive. They will not start sports until Nove 4 that means no districts in any fall sport. South Calloway, Versailles, New Bloomfield. That is just the start of things to come. The virus is getting worse as the weather gets colder and we are stuck inside.

O/U on how many days till the high-school educated school board members in those districts hold emergency meetings to overrule the recommendations of the actual medical professionals and allow football on October 30th even if their schools remain closed?
I agree, but many school boards have already done that very thing this fall. I think it's incredibly risky for them to overrule the health authorities because they are not medical professionals and are needlessly exposing themselves to litigation. But they do it, anyway.
And I'd put the O/U at 4 days. I predict at least one of those school boards will hold an emergency meeting by Monday and overrule the decision not to play sports. JMO.
Pretty sure this is not true at South Callaway. They moved to virtual for two weeks, but as the one seed, they have a bye and will be back to play for the second round of districts.
Just checked, and it's also not true with Versailes. Might want to start verifying your sources.
Well there is a difference in teachers testing positive and students and teachers being in quarantine and not having enough subs as well. If school closes because of the lack of substitutes, I would think they would still be playing sports.
