Haha maybe! My larger point is the possibility three of them could be playing for titles in Columbia.
I imagine the Jasper school leaders at the time probably had the same reaction.
Now, Brad Wesley was going to bring a JC Penny to the town, but I'm pretty sure Dalton ruined those plans.
Jeff City beat Capital City, Capital City beat Warrensburg. Warrensburg beat Pleasant Hill. Jeff City definitely has a chance.
While I don't disagree with this scenario, PHC still has to get past SG first.
I have no idea if you don't know or are just not thinking but SG barely beat them last time when they were not healthy.
PHC is healthy and will beat SG by 21.
How could the town the great movie "Roadhouse" was set n ever be considered urban???? Patrick Swazee would kick someone's ass just for thinking it!!!

I was at the game. SG physically dominated PHC on both sides of the ball in the box. I do think PHC should be able to get over the top on them. But they were not missing any of the factors that determined the physicality of that game.
I've caught two SG games this year, and both games SG had key players out. PHC wasn't the only one "battling injuries". SG beat them with a sophomore at QB. PHC biggest play came on a half back pass. Like I said, you may be right, but don't be shocked if its a lot closer than what you think.
That movie reminds me (old Northlanders here may remember) of the Chouteau Inn back in my youth.
if this was Stolzers Dragons id say they had a chance but its not. SG barely got past Dexter last week and also has a loss to Potosi. Not in the same league as PHC at this point. I would maybe even chalk PHC issues in game 1 as knowing they were down their superstars. I would love for that area to be competitive as it was in the past but it seems like semo has a few good teams and the rest are down

Wasn't it actually Ron's Chouteau Inn ? That place was "street fight heaven !" The "ladies" were loose and free. Even Sheldon could have found a "date" there !!!
Okay you bozos and CLOWN!! Listen up! I can get a date ANYWHERE!! Young Bosko did quite well, if you know what I mean. But I am HAPPILY MARRIED!! There is only room for ONE lady in my life!! Also, the Ampipe Pool Hall was ROUGH!! If you didnt know how to handle yourself, dont bother opening the door!! Luckily I managed to change that over the years. Classed the joint up. Yes good catch! It was a local Mom and Pop run by Ron and family back in those days. Late Fri-Sat there was let's-just-say interesting. Always was fist fights no weapons thankfully. Like I said it could easily have been the inspiration for Road House.

Zero stop light town. Only the government would call that urban. Loved going to school there. Lots of memories in that town!
