to leave your politics off the field? This is a nice get away for some of us after the the day this year has gone. How would you like to be the holder of NBA playoff tickets and take a couple days off to go to the game, or games, only to find out the series is postponed? A couple of MLB games postponed tonight and they had no idea if the Cards were gonna play until they took the field. Two Cardinal players chose to not be involved in the game tonight. Do your freakin job and show your support some other way!

I'm missing sports less and less all the time. I haven't watched a minute of NBA basketball and don't plan to. I haven't watched or listened to 9 innings total of Cardinal baseball. I'm sure no one cares and that's fine. It just doesn't interest me as much as it used to.

I haven't watched NBA since the Jordan days, don't even watch major college ball anymore until the tournament. I go to juco basketball and softball games at home and some on the road when I can. I still watch lots of HS basketball, more girls than boys these days. Watching little kids baseball with both grandson's, 8 and 11, playing some 'bigtime' baseball these days.
