I think we almost all agree that we needed to get out of Afghanistan. The way it was handled was about the worst possible. First you get out the civilian, then last you get out the guys and gals that have the guns. Also let’s defund them taliban, not leave them a bunch of weapons.
It was embarrassing and everyone knows it, except for Biden who doesn’t have a clue who is he or what he is doing anymore..

From Feb 29, 2020 until Jan 15, 2021, US reduced forces from 13,000 to 2,500 under Trump. Trump's announced withdrawal date was May 1, 2021. How many weapons were withdrawn from Feb 2020 until Jan 2021? What was Trump's plan to get the weapons out before May 1, 2021? NONE and NONE!! Trump had no plan and left Biden his shit show. (Just as Trump had no plan for the vaccine distribution.) Trump wasn't big on the intricate details of operations.

The facts remain that Possum Pelt Haired Donnie made the agreement in Feb 2020 with the Taliban, a terrorist group and US haters, and the release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners. US troops immediately began withdrawing from northern provinces, and the Taliban moved in right behind us. We abandoned our Afghan allies long ago in the northern provinces, and likely left equipment. We went from 13,000 boots on the ground in Feb 29, 2020 to 2,500 troops left on Jan 15, 2021, with a May 1 deadline for complete withdrawal made by Don the Con, knowing full well after the election that the clean up wasn't going to be his problem. The Afghan army was supposedly trained and equipped to defend the country. 2,500 US soldiers left to get out all US gov employees, contractors, civilians and Afghan allies in danger, and all military equipment.
That's the hand Biden was dealt. It wasn't going to end well, no matter who was president. I don't fault Orange Man Bad. I have long been a proponent of getting out of Middle East civil wars or other places, unless we or our interests are attacked. And in American's eyes, our mission was accomplished when Bin Laden was killed. But this isn't the Crime of the Century.

This was Bidens operation 100% stop blaming Trump. Trump set the date. You or me don't have a clue what Trumps plan was. It might of been spot on and well executed. If we had taken those away from them they might have an excuse for running home to mama when the Taliban came calling after our troops left. ALL of this crap is on the Afghan army for dropping everything and giving upon 10 days.
Those not in the military that wanted out should have started leaving as soon as it was decided when they had to be out BEFORE the Taliban took over and they could freely travel to the airport.
I wanted nobody to die....and servicemen the least of all.
And Marines being killed, and American supporters and families being left behind to be murdered and tortured isn't a manufactured crisis...No more than the Crisis of Trump being a Soviet Plant, or a few bumble heads being allowed to breach the capital.

I wish Biden had exited that region with poise and grace in a well planned exit strategy. He could of he clearly had the chance he failed.

Nice you clearly don't have any knowledge of how that stuff works and how the gov. bureaucracy operates. Getting Exist visa's and the proper paper work is not a vast and expedited process.

They had months to get to Kabul is they wouldn't eb left out in the cold when leaving time rolled around. You left out the part about their own army throwing in the towel and leaving them out in the cold.
Those 30 did Not die in a bungled exit plan they died executing the duties they had been assigned in everyday normal operations. The 13 marines died needlessly because the plan was a mess from it's inception and then it was rushed and executed in a improper manner.
Biden had 13 die on his watch in 274 days.......Trump had 37 die on his watch in 1460 days. I think that is pretty telling difference. About 9 a year died under Trump. Biden has Racked up 13 under his care in 8 months.

They were told what they needed to know, the date the evacuation would end and they didn't do anything to get out well before that time came. They could have travelled freely BEFORE the Taliban walked over the Afghan army.
So you are just assuming they did nothing? You have no proof of that, and in fact that is not the case and they could not travel and move freely, you seem to operate under the assumption that Afghanistan was like America. IT was not.
I've heard NO such thing reported by ANY news outlet. Why wouldn't they be able to travel freely under the previous government?
