I'm going Grandview over Ray South in C4 and Webster Groves over Chaminade in C5.

......LOL....... Theze are the same guyz that refused to consider Van-Far a vote all season even after repeated notices...
Better off using a dart board than relying
on the MBCA polls...

Good luck to my Sikeston Bulldogs friends..!

If they stopped doing the polls, like the sportswriters, what you have to complain about?

.....No one is asking for the polls to stop...
and there is still plenty to complain about..!
BUT when the pole master hisself is informed
of teams notible performances and they still
get NO respect... you figure it out...!

You have to understand that majority of coaches that vote have never seen any of the teams they are voting for. The best they can do is go off record and comparable scores. It will always be that the programs that are always successful will get over rated as well. I would still personally see Van Far as a Cinderella considering all the scores down the stretch. They were a fun ball club to watch! You also have to factor in that media coverage in swmo, NWMO, and even semo is usually superior and gives more recognition to teams than Nemo/Mid mo. Some of that is just my opinion. I also felt that C2 this year was the most wide open class with all of the ranked schools winning and losing to each other...lots of parity.

In the ncaa we are about to see how much polls are worth :).

Always hard to tell when teams play very different schedules. If you are around .500 you won't get votes no matter who you played. Win 25 games and you will get votes also no matter who you play. Doesn't necessarily mean 1 team is obviously better than the others. But it does make it difficult to decide. It is an imperfect system in an imperfect game. Look at how things ended on the girl's side Walnut Grove didn't even make it to the Final 4 and everyone crowned them state champs before the season started. That is why we play the games!

This is a very untrue statement.

The polls weren't that far off overall, and expecting them to be even close to perfect isn't rational. Congrats to V-F who will be ranked at the top at the only time it really matters.
I should have said only have seen "some" of the teams they are voting on. Pretty hard to see NEMO if you are in SWMO, etc. Very few opportunities for common opponents...misspoke...didn't mean "Any".
