Yeah, of course. I mean, Sterk kept Kim Anderson through all of last year. No incentive to fire him mid season.Yeah
Mizzou did it in SEC too .
Which conference is top heavy again?
I'm guessing I could check all conferences and find that the SEC is actually more balanced over time than any other conference.
Again, I'll just take pleasure in you being wrong. I enjoy when high and mighty people get a taste of humble pie.
True. Honestly don't remember the list of unemployed college hoops coaches during the 16-17 season. Nice list of football coaches right now. Might make sense to get a jump on the competition. Sterk doesn't seem afraid to pay up.Yeah, of course. I mean, Sterk kept Kim Anderson through all of last year. No incentive to fire him mid season.
BumpI don't think many people will argue that the SEC isn't the best conference top to bottom, so congratulations (I guess?) for being a fan of the worst team in the best conference!
Congrats on beating a team whose coach got fired this week! Now you have the same number of SEC wins as Troy!!
Nah, I didn’t even notice until Cowherd pointed it out (he’s been waiting for today all year!)Why such bitterness Mitsy?
Does it hurt you when Missouri has a good game? I just dont get it. Life is way too short.
Still the best conference top to bottom? MU certainly no longer the worst team. BO working on an extension next few weeks.Bump
LMAO...Still the best conference top to bottom? MU certainly no longer the worst team. BO working on an extension next few weeks.
All aboard the Barry Odom bandwagon!Still the best conference top to bottom? MU certainly no longer the worst team. BO working on an extension next few weeks.
Lol. Makes me nervous. I dig the winning, but no secret against really bad teams at current. BUT, at least MU isn't one of those as they've obviously improved. Worried that a nice little run could get them in a 3-yr deal that could get sticky. I'm betting it has a SUPER low buyout. All aboard the Barry Odom bandwagon!

Idk. Not the worst team, which was mits’ point.Still the best conference?
Lol. Fair enough. In all seriousness, what HCBO and the Tigers have done is nothing short of unexpected. Graphic last night about the first five games and the last five was just mind-boggling. Complete turnaround on offense and defense both. Save me the ‘they’ve been playing nothing but dumpster fires’ line. It’s not like Purdue, uSC, and UK are anything special at all.Idk. Not the worst team, which was mits’ point.
Yep. Barry has proved me wrong. I know they aren’t playing world beaters, but this team is vastly improved over the garbage they were at the beginning of the year.Lol. Fair enough. Totally agree. I'm shocked really. Almost makes you wonder how they were so freaking bad earlier in the year. It's not like Tennessee/Florida/Vandy is that much (or any) worse than uSC/Purde/Kentucky.Yep. Barry has proved me wrong. Well, its not like the coaching staff has done nothing because they have. I say just look at what those early teams' expectations were at the time we played them v. the self expectations of the last three at the time we played them. Your self expectations make a world of difference in how hard you play.Totally agree. I'm shocked really. Almost makes you wonder how they were so freaking bad earlier in the year. Oh certainly! If Miz is able to eek out a single conference win, goodness knows you should thump your chest about it

Why I posted an apology threadHow about three? Four?
Yeah, but they've got rough losses too. It's really hard to play that A beat B/B beat C/A should beat C game in college football. Purdue overall isn't anything special.Oh ya....about Purdue.
They beat Iowa. Not really too big a deal except....Iowa thrashed The Ohio State university. Weirdness. Still a terrible loss for Mizzou at home. But, that's where the team was at that time.
