ACC !! ACC ! ACC!!!

Mizzou did it in SEC too .

Which conference is top heavy again?

I'm guessing I could check all conferences and find that the SEC is actually more balanced over time than any other conference.

What ya need to do is check who has more wins over the last four years when going head to head....................

Again, I'll just take pleasure in you being wrong. I enjoy when high and mighty people get a taste of humble pie.

Yeah, of course. I mean, Sterk kept Kim Anderson through all of last year. No incentive to fire him mid season.
True. Honestly don't remember the list of unemployed college hoops coaches during the 16-17 season. Nice list of football coaches right now. Might make sense to get a jump on the competition. Sterk doesn't seem afraid to pay up.

Congrats on beating a team whose coach got fired this week! Now you have the same number of SEC wins as Troy!! :D

Why such bitterness Mitsy?
Does it hurt you when Missouri has a good game? I just dont get it. Life is way too short.

Nah, I didn’t even notice until Cowherd pointed it out (he’s been waiting for today all year!)

It’s a me and him thing :D

Well the way Tennessee and Arky have been playing Mizzou is likely to add 2-3 more.
Arky had to score with 2 min left to top 1-7 Coastal Carolina in a home game.

I never brag about Arkansas ;)

Did you know I’m a life long Detroit Lions fan, too? :D

(Or was your post not even in reference to my Hog fandom?)

Honestly, who looked at this game at the beginning of the season, and says mizzou wins here. Lock looked good yesterday. Has played well this season.

Lock doesnt bolt from the pocket at every hint of pressure like he did last year. He is much improved and really looks strong.

All aboard the Barry Odom bandwagon!
Lol. Makes me nervous. I dig the winning, but no secret against really bad teams at current. BUT, at least MU isn't one of those as they've obviously improved. Worried that a nice little run could get them in a 3-yr deal that could get sticky. I'm betting it has a SUPER low buyout.

Idk. Not the worst team, which was mits’ point.
Lol. Fair enough. In all seriousness, what HCBO and the Tigers have done is nothing short of unexpected. Graphic last night about the first five games and the last five was just mind-boggling. Complete turnaround on offense and defense both. Save me the ‘they’ve been playing nothing but dumpster fires’ line. It’s not like Purdue, uSC, and UK are anything special at all.

Yep. Barry has proved me wrong. I know they aren’t playing world beaters, but this team is vastly improved over the garbage they were at the beginning of the year.

Totally agree. I'm shocked really. Almost makes you wonder how they were so freaking bad earlier in the year. It's not like Tennessee/Florida/Vandy is that much (or any) worse than uSC/Purde/Kentucky.

Well, its not like the coaching staff has done nothing because they have. I say just look at what those early teams' expectations were at the time we played them v. the self expectations of the last three at the time we played them. Your self expectations make a world of difference in how hard you play.
It would be interesting to know what four more weeks of practice and a bowl game could have meant to this team if we had qualified for a bowl last year. Maybe none, maybe a lot, no way of ever knowing, but my instincts say, "a lot". Still, I have to hand it to the coaching staff for determining we needed to attack more on defense and run more on offense and for getting the players to buy in to both. BTW, I didn't think we played well at Vandy, a lot of stupid mistakes for this late in the season and "the drops", totally unacceptable!

Oh ya....about Purdue.

They beat Iowa. Not really too big a deal except....Iowa thrashed The Ohio State university. Weirdness. Still a terrible loss for Mizzou at home. But, that's where the team was at that time.

Yeah, but they've got rough losses too. It's really hard to play that A beat B/B beat C/A should beat C game in college football. Purdue overall isn't anything special.
