I sure hope they will let him take naps in the situation room. Hopefully God will be able to tell him what to do in a dream, during a short nap.
Sure inspires me to vote for him.

At 7:51 you ask me how I can say "republicans are not as judgemental" with a straight face?

At 7:57 you post a thread mocking a man of faith and being judgemental.....oh the irony :)

Agree with your point, but you have to acknowledge that, to a non-evangelical, their perception of his statements is going to be quite different than yours.

Personally, I find it preposterous that God came to someone in their dreams to give them the answers to a science test, but you can believe whatever you want.

That story is rhetoric for the evangelical primary voter masses.

This sort of thing is why evangelicals vote Republican to a large degree. It's also part of why the young have moved away from Republicans - this sounds like crazy talk to large segments of America.

It is crazy talk. So I guess the kid sitting two rows over who did fail the test is hated by his god? Stop it.

If you know your stuff you pass the test, period.

To many reasonable evangelicals the perception of his statements are ridiculous as well. They would say God helps those who help themselves, which would mean if they didn't study, God ain't going to just give them the answer.
Thinking this guy is a legitimate candidate is a scary one. Palin had been a governor. Cain, had been in business and had a plan. 999 was a joke, but at least it was something. This guy is outrageous!

I have no issue with his faith, I have an issue with his absurdity. I am comfortable with Huckabee as a candidate. I may disagree with his positions, but until he tells us that a burning bush told him to end gay marriage, I won't have a problem with him as a candidate.

It's all about relatability. That rhetoric makes him

Huckabee is not someone I would vote for but I think he's a decent man and I think he speaks pretty honestly about what he believes. He's a social conservative populist.

Cain was unqualified and kind of a joke candidate. "999" was a schtick, not a serious policy proposal.

GOPers like morons. Not sure what that says about themselves..

10. Chuck Winder (R-ID): ”I would hope that when a woman goes in to a physician with a rape issue, that physician will indeed ask her about perhaps her marriage, was this pregnancy caused by normal relations in a marriage or was it truly caused by a rape. I assume that’s part of the counseling that goes on.” - March 2012

9. Rick Santorum: “I think the right approach is to accept this horribly created — in the sense of rape — but nevertheless a gift in a very broken way, the gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you… rape victims should make the best of a bad situation.” - January, 2012

8. Mitt Romney: “I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that’s the America millions of Americans believe in. That’s the America I love.” – January 2012

7. Mitt Romney: “I’m not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there.” — January 2012

6. Roger Rivard (R-WI): ”Some girls rape easy.” – October 2012

5. Mitt Romney: “I went to a number of women’s groups and said ‘Can you help us find folks?’ and they brought us whole binders full of women.” —October, 2012

4. Richard Mourdock (R-IN): ”I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.” – October 2012

3. Todd Akin (R-MO): “If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways of shutting that whole thing down” - mid 2012 Senate Campaign

2. Mitt Romney: ”As president, I will create 12 million new jobs.” —Second presidential debate

1. Mitt Romney: ”Government does not create jobs. Government does not create jobs.” — 45 minutes later (Oct. 16, 2012)

It's amazing how one prayer breakfast has made him the patron saint of the conservatives.

All you Carson haters are just hiding your racist feelings behind your rhetoric.
He's the GOP token black guy. He's just angling for a fauxnews slot.

But this quote might hurt that...

"Carson said that he found the "concept of for profits for the insurance companies" absurd. He continued, "The first thing we need to do is get rid of for-profit insurance companies. We have a lack of policies and we need to make the government responsible for catastrophic health care"

Communist.

Kinda funny when republicans say anything negative about a black guy, they are racist.

But a democrat can say anything bad about a black guy if they call him a "token black guy" or a "Uncle Tom".

Since I'm neither guess that makes me a realist.

Lol no it's that outsider candidates have no chance at winning the R nom. Sorry we are honest and point that out. He's not the only person this applies to. It applied to Ron Paul, Herman Cain, and others from the past.

Also you don't like when we point out he's not really any more authentic that career politicians. Not racist, just honest.

Carson is a sideshow from the main event of Rubio/walker/bush. Don't pretend it will ever happen.

Again, Hillary Clinton is praying every day that the Rs nominate someone him. She would destroy him in a general election. He's walking gaffe machine compared to anyone else in the R field.

Antisemitism? Because he points out the rights hypocritical defense of Israel. I see Congress rubber stamped the Iran deal after making a big show and doing to this president what they have done to none other. Can't wait for bébé to come lecture us again.

When someone calls a black republican a "token black guy" ....... They are a liberal. It's ok Veer, just admit you are a big democrat liberal. No need to be ashamed...... Right.

You're not only slow you're also silly. You may be the worst poster in the history of this board and that's quite an accomplishment.

Wow, the worst poster in history.

I apologize for upsetting you to the point that you would insult me with such a dastardly award.
