I dropped Clark County due to their loss and who they are currently without due to injury. They could still make noise later on when they get their two defensive studs back. Macon should be in 'others receiving votes' as they haven't played anyone yet but that changes quickly with road games at South Shelby and Monroe City in the next two weeks. We'll know whether we should take them seriously in C2D8 or not so much after that.

Higginsville (Lafayette County) shouldn't be in the C2 top 10. On another note who the heck is the favorite in C1? That looks more wide open than ever so far.

The KCI is going to be an absolute war zone this year! Not sure when the last time I saw FOUR of them ranked at the same time!
I know right. All the fun starts Friday as East Buch and Penney face off. Wouldn’t be surprised if the KCI splits between 2 or 3 teams. It’s going to be a fun year. And to be honest the bottom half will be fun too. Those 4 are so close together it will be fun.
Yeah, I dropped them and Ava too. Fair Grove's win over THE Grove seems more worthy of inclusion at this point. Also included Caruthersville to get that district on the board, and they have Valle this week so we'll get a better idea on them as well.
Speaking of, you have to favor Valle in Class 1 now that Monroe City moved up I'd think. Penney, Westran, Thayer, Marceline some others to keep an eye on. I'm also watching South Shelby as they have some talent. If they can survive the brutal conference stretch healthy they will be a tough out.
You are forgetting East Buchanan, favorable district matchups will help. Same with Penney. They would face off in Quarterfinals as usual. And another name to think about is Hayti.
I’m not sure what it is, but Class 1 seems even deeper then it has in years past. Is it just me? Valle is probably still team to beat, but we have named what, 8-10 teams that could win it?
Two matchups in Class 4 this week that feature top ten teams facing each other (Smithville vs Grain Valley, Kearney vs Platte County). All belong to the Suburban Blue Division. Should make for some good games.
Hayti is on my radar also. This may be Hayti's year but Valle will be improved by year end if no major injuries. Could be more interesting than usual.
100% chance of rain on Friday night. If lighting is within 100 miles they'll delay. Only 50% on Sat. Could be a bunch of Saturday makeups. Not sure if a team would agree to play on Sunday.

Hurricane/TS remnants. Could get a lot of rain and we still need it. Seriously doubt anyone will play on Sunday..........
