Speaking of 8-man, ole East Atchison(Tarkio w/Fairfax) handed Mound City their first loss of the season last week. 34-6
This marks two years in a row that the Wolves have bested the Panthers in conference play, but can they do it in districts??
Side-note, I could be wrong but I believe it’s been quite awhile since Mound City has been beaten two consecutive years by the same team in conference play. East Atchison looks poised to repeat as conference champs.
East Atchison is 3-1
Winning their games by an average of 44-19
Compared to normal 8-man points allowed, this is a very defensive team.
They lost first game of the season to Southwest and since then have allowed an average of 8 ppg in their 3 victories.
