Ray did an admiral job guarding Wright. Carthage's lack of height was the main issue down the stretch.

I lost track, but he probably held him to about 8/24 shooting on the night and most of those makes were in the paint; he forced a lot of missed jumpers. Gibson did well after going down early with an injury. He came back in the 2nd quarter and ended up hitting the boards hard all night. Offensive rebounds extended a lot of Joplin's possessions.

Carthage led for a big chunk of the game. It seemed like in the 4th Quarter All Wright decided to take over and he scored or assisted on almost every bucket during the 4th it seemed .

Guarding Wright took Ray out of the offensive end a little bit it seemed like, or the hard fall he took the night before was still lingering. I’m glad he wasn’t hurt worse, not a smart play by the Webb kid, could have easily cost Ray his season.
