#4 Webb City @ #6 Republic

I like WC in a close one. Republic is going to score some TD's, but WC's 2 senior running backs and #3 running behind that experienced OL I think will be too much for Republic.
This WC defense maybe the weakest they've had in awhile, just don't see any real difference makers on that side of the ball (at least not yet), the good new is it's WC and they're still better than most.

I went back and reviewed most MO districts yesterday Class 5 District 7 is all but gifting the title to Webb City all things remaining equal............
They get a walk in districts but then will play a very good team out of district 8
WC couldn't have been given a better district this year. With Carthage down they should be able to sleep walk through districts. Now the game after districts it gets real interesting. May come down to who is the healthiest when going up against GV, PC or FO.
Haha don't think I ever have said "sleep walk" because of the ever present injury possibility but yes even up they should be facing one of the District 8 KC metro triad in the quarterfinals. Would imagine they would like another crack at Platte County in particular.
Potentially. It is a triad any of the three could win and rep KC in that quarterfinal. Don't nearly be fooled by Fort Osage's 0-2 start.
No way will I be fooled by that. I was at game 1 for them and they are tough. If they can find a passing game, just a small one to help their run game they are legit contenders.

If the defense that gave up 14 to Nixa show up Webb should win , just didn't seem very focused against CJ

After Webb's D gave up that 66 yard run on the 4th play of Nixa game to Ward they held him to 24 yards on 12 runs the rest of game. I think game will be about like first meeting last year

Woods and Krol are gonna get theirs for republic they are really good and very strong . The key to the game besides turnovers will be Webb has to lock down Rexroat because he can wreck the game . If Webb contains Rexroat I think they should win .
