Just curious how things are going to be out in that area this year. St. James always seems to field a decent team, is this year any different. Will Hermann be picked to win the conference. Is Owensville down after making their run last year. Our is there sleeper out there. Curious to how Washington and Borgia will be also. Any freshman or new comers coming who can step up? I thought I saw a few names during the summer USJN events.

I was curious about this as well. St James, Hermann, Sullivan, Washington return a lot of talent. Borgia I think lost everyone but the Moss girl. Hopefully she is healthy this year and compete a full strength. Not sure if they have any younger kids to step up and make a difference.

Was talking to a coach in the league. He pretty much said what you said. But added St.Clair has some players too. Said Washington is very short but can shoot it up adding some a couple of girls. Said he beliefs Hermann will win it. Said what you said about Borgia, but have a sophomore and freshman who been playing some club ball and should be able to help the Moss girl. Sounds like some good ball out that way overall.

My picks, just as curious as everyone else:

Hermann
St. James
St. Clair
Owensville
Pacific
Union
Sullivan
New Haven

I do not see any team going undefeated in conference play

Heggemann from Borgia is starting and playing well at 3Rivers.
