I've already seen enough of Honny batting 4th and it's only been 1 at bat. My bad he hit 5th which is still too high

Was that big city out there today or small village? I didn't even recognize him. I thought it was Kent Tekulve for a second there.

I hope I'm wrong, but on the surface I'm not sure if I like Adams tinkering with his stance as much as he did. I'm worried with his hands low that he'll open himself up to getting busted in and not being able to turn on anything

I hope he doesn't see enough PA's for it to matter.

Touche...but he has been a really solid pinch hitter in his career so I'd hate to lose that.
Agreed. I actually like the idea of he and Peralta (please, for all that is holy, play Gyorko) coming off the bench. Nice to have a tad of potential pop there. Or something other than a warm body to spot start, as has been in years past.

I expect Honny to primarily start at 3rd because Gyorko has more flexibility. He can play every infield position so I think he may become a super-sub. As long as they play the hot hand and don't stick to J-Dawg even if he's slumping miserably, I'm ok with that.

Gyorko at 2b because Wong is already complaining of a sore arm. I hope it doesn't get better because I really don't like Wong for those of you that don't know

How do they come into ST saying Wong is gonna be their guy when he's complaining about shoulder issue that is left over from last season?

the next thing you hear out of his mouth will be I could be an all star if they wouldn't have made me play in the out field.

I always wonder if it's this bad with other organizations. Obviously, I'm aware of the Cardinals medical team and no other teams. But it sure doesn't seem to be the smoothest operation on the planet.
I'alike to know why he didn't say anything about it over the winter so they could figure out what it is and fix it. I assume these guys do not go all winter without throwing a baseball. o_O
