Carthage looking very good so far. Ref tossed a pretty questionable PI flag that greatly aided Repmo to put in a score last play of the half.
Republic did move the ball on their last possession but otherwise have been getting schooled. They do receive after half so they’ll have an opportunity to get it back within a score.

Republic is going to have to complete some more passes and go deep in the playbook to find some runs that work, their offense really hasn’t been able to do much outside of the helpful PI call. Been awhile since Carthage has thrown the ball this much, the Murray kid is an absolute weapon at tight end.
Also republics announcer is one of the best I’ve ever heard at a high school game but good lawd the volume is about 20 notches too high!
Yeah I was a little surprised to see them so early and often but so far it’s mostly worked out very well.
A few surprises in this one but probably the biggest is 3/4 tds being through the air on big pass plays.
