4:00 starting time

How stupid is this? These pitchers are hard enough to hit without the shadows. Its not a convenient time for people attending the event live. MLB has totally lost control of its own games.

I can't agree more Duck. Just look at the stupidity of yesterdays start time between Washington/Giants.

Somebody took an extra dose of stupid this postseason.

I know $$$ has to be the motivating factor, but I just can't figure out how. Maybe they take a non-prime advertising time slot, and make it a bigger money maker??? I'm clueless as to why they wouldn't set it like the NCAA bball tourney, with the games on the different networks at (give or take) the same time. Eliminate the shadows and such. They're playing the playoffs at a time there is absolutely never a regular season game on that field (same in LA for game one as well). Seems the only logic there is money. I just can't imagine the revenue is that much different, to make that kind of a decision.
