#3 Webb City 32 #3 Carthage 7 - Final

Maybe the kid enjoys playing high school football with his classmates and friends.

Yea a few years ago young man from Seneca skipped his senior year of football and people were dogging him.

I think having a 5 million dollar signing bonus waiting with the Dodgers after graduation made it a good call in that case:)

Sounds like a good reason to play to me.

Life's short, enjoy it.

I remember that, but it was his choice not to play.

This is the opposite side of it. This kid chose to play.

Neither should be dogged or ridiculed for the decision they made.

Starting to look how I feared. Penalties forcing carthage to pass, carthage passing has been atrocious and they are stating to look like they've given up. Really needed to score on that last drive but a lazy punt gave webb great
Start of the season I said Carthage needed a passing game. It showed last night.

I believe it was Goddard who through the TD pass to smith and not Hicks. Also, kabala did take a swing at Huntley after he scored that TD. I'm sure there was ample talk going on in that game.

Can't remember a game with this many penalties before. Carthage got called for holding a dozen times,

It was. PA isn't much help in Carthage.

I think its only the first half next week, he made a great run for the TD and the Carthage player got right up in his grill in the endzone and he did swing his arm to push him away. Looked like a natural reaction to what happened, but you can't lose control or you get tossed. Kabala and Weathers in the backfield are fun to watch and Carthage QB looks like he could play for Mizzou, D1 somewhere.

Best part was the kid from ctown turned and clapped after the flag was thrown. Dude, you were down by 25, that penalty did nothing to help your team.

Webb’s DLine just kind of goes Bonzia

I remember many years ago at Harrisonville one of their linemen was playing dirty all night,,one of our young men got tired of it and clocked him late in the game. Postgame John says “ I wish you would have just walked away,,,,,,,,,,but sometimes you just can’t can you”

Really?
It was beautiful last week.60s - 79s and get this: There’s no humidity and the AIR ACTUALLY MOVES!
Barely a week into fall, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for parts of the Rocky Mountains where heavy snow is expected to slam the Judith Basin and Cascade counties with total accumulations reaching up to 15 inches at lower elevations and up to 30 inches in the mountains.

I worked with Maniacs Grandad many years ago,,,we aren’t all as crazy as it seems on here :)

Gramps was way more crazier than me. Hard to believe it’s been 5 years since he’s been gone. Sure miss that guy.

It was 15 years ago, 2004. I don't remember one person dogging SE for not playing his senior year of football.

Would have loved to see him play that yer, you still have to wonder how good he would have been his senior year had he gone out? He was almost unstoppable as a Junior, it really changed Seneca football that next year without him in the backfield.
