With the season either at the midway point or just past it to see where this new conference stands in basketball. All programs have yet to start conference games (six) and listed the remaining non-conference games/tournaments. Order is based on win percentage, records are based on what is posted on MSHSAA website. If there is a mistake, let me know and we can fix it:

Logan-Rogersville 10-2
-- Two non-cons left in Hartville, Greenwood, two tournaments at Lindbergh and Nixa
Bolivar 9-3
-- Four non-cons left in Helias, McDonald County, Monett, Springfield Catholic, one tournament hosting its own Liberator Classic.
Hillcrest 9-3
-- Five non-cons left in Rolla, Webb City, Glendale, Springfield Central and Forsyth, one tournament at Nixa.
Carl Junction 11-4
-- Five non-cons left in St. Mary's-Colgan, Seneca, Clinton, St. Joseph Benton and McDonald County, done with tournaments.
Branson 5-7
-- Two non-cons left in Parkview and Monett, two tournaments at Pittsburg, Kan. and at Bolivar.
West Plains 5-7
-- Five non-cons left in Poplar Bluff, Ozark, Camdenton, Parkview and Rolla, one tournament at Mountain Grove.
Marshfield 1-10*
-- Five non-cons left in Mount Vernon, Thayer, Springfield Catholic, Reeds Spring and Ava, one tournament at Mountain Grove.
* -- Score from Saturday's Liberty-Mountain View game is missing.

The only bad team here is Marshfield. West Plains took Republic to OT. Branson has some good wins.

Agreed. Top to bottom is pretty solid, outside of Marshfield. L-R is probably the best, but man, it's pretty hard to distinguish between any of the six. They all have a chance of beating each other.

I think the fav is Rogersville. I’ve seen 6 of these in person.

Rog has the guard play(the best guard in conference imo)and the post play(even if their 2 post players are homeschooled and take 1 online class through Rog so they can play)

Rog is legit but when they get into foul trouble, they have some drop off, not as bad as Hillcrest in foul trouble, but it’s there.

Branson is really scrappy. They just play hard.

Bolivar is scrappy as well but also not very deep.

WP though their record doesn’t reflect it, has been a big surprise. They were leading Nixa after 1Q and only down 1 at half. Nixa goes on a 9-0 run to start the 2nd half and ends up beating WP by 8. And they took RepMo to OT.

Hillcrest has possibly the best guard tandem in the conference, but can be inconsistent.
Their first 5 are solid but they only have 1 bench player they can truly count on and no depth in the post.
If they play their best game, they can beat anyone in this conference, but as with any team in HS that doesn’t happen as much as you’d like.

CJ iS the only team I haven’t seen play but judging by their record I’d say they’ll be right in the mix.

You can’t take an online class to play. You have to be present in the building for at least one class to be eligible. They can take the rest of their classes online, but have to be in the building for one.

Rog is the class of the league IMO...( I have seen everyone) may win every game by double digits
Branson and Hillcrest played a 5 pt game at the Blue and Gold after the Pirates lost by 20 to LR. I think WP is right there with them
Hard to say but Bolivar, is right there too, possibly even a step ahead.
CJ is not bad, just not sure they are quite up to the others...
Its just going to be a long season for Marshfield.

I’m not saying you’re wrong. Maybe the 1 class they take is PE or conditioning or something. Or maybe they just do their online class in the library. I have no idea lol.
This is just what I have been told by multiple people.

Rog is definitely the favorite. Should be an interesting season.

Isn't there a thing in Missouri where you can be a homeschooler and still play athletics and participate in extracurricular activities if they school allows that to happen and it is the standard for everyone?

I maybe wrong on that, but I thought I read about that in the past and it is up the individual school. I think one of the SCA schools had a blow up a couple years ago about a homeschooler wanting to participate in band.

I was thinking the same thing.
