Privates separated into two classes small and large. Small 0-345 and large 346-1504

my guess Small class champ is Lutheran North and Large class Champ is De Smet Jesuit

For Publics I took 40 into class 1, 48 into class 2, 47 into classes 3-5, and 42 into class 6
I wanted to break down into 5 classes but with the history of keeping top and bottom classes smaller i didnt want 63-64 in classes 2-4 so i chose this as it is very equal from 1-6 without exceeding a 2.0

Battle is coop with a private so they go private side, I do think if MSHSAA went this route they would not coop with them and then you would just slide them in as a 48th C5 team.

This is not an exercise in what will MSHSAA do but more of a guideline of where things would line up if I was calling the shots. Capping C1 at 32 and making every other class 60 is asinine, why do the little schools get to have a 1 in 32 chance of a title while everyone else gets a 1-60 chance. While I know MSHSAA doesn't care about being able to defend their opinion because the only place they have to do that is in court where they lose. I on the other hand have to so fair and equal as possible is where I landed.

That said, MSHSAA could follow OSSAA formula and offer split class championships.

So using the 32 in Class 1 (as you mentioned a 1-in-32 odds of winning), then if Class 2, 3, 4 and 5 have 60 each, then have a Class 2 Division I and II, Class 3 Division I and II, Class 4 Division I and II and Class 5 Division I and II state championship, which would add four state champions on top of the new classes for private allowing MSHSAA to crown 12 state champions in football each year and then Missouri would have as many football state champions as Oklahoma.

the rationale behind it was 40 was even and if i went to 42 id have sarcoxie at 184 putting me over the 2.0 ratio.
Crane didnt have football in 24 and plattsburg was 8 man in 2024. are they both entering the conversation in 25 for 11 man?

As a co-op, the points for each school are held together, and the co-op may move up or down in classification based on total points, as described above. MSIP-exempt schools carry their own points into a new co-op. Each school within a coop (including a public school) will carry a percentage of the points earned during the co-op when the co-op disbands (50% each for a two-school co-op; 33% each for a three-school co-op).For new co-ops of only MSIP-exempt schools, prior points (like enrollments) will be added together to determine points for the co-op. Forming or disbanding a coop will not eliminate points or protect from re-classification based on earned points.

You right I was mixing up my conversations, with your conversation they have 25% of all championships which is a similar number to what they have currently if looked at just like that.
However when splitting them the percentages no longer matter as they are 2 completely separate entities and publics have 100% of their available titles and privates 100% of theirs

The bigger problem is the failure of the St. Louis and northern St. Louis suburban public schools. The decline of the Hazelwood schools along with the St. Louis city schools is the problem. That is where all the premier talent comes form. The Metro Catholic schools, Cardinal Ritter, and Lutheran North are the beneficiaries of this.
