This has to be the deepest class in a long time in SWMO and several of the best area teams are going to be in rebuild/retool mode next season. Some have the younger players waiting in the wings to replace them but many do not. I'm talking teams like Miller, Blue Eye, Nixa, Kickapoo, Rolla, Ozark, Lebanon, Camdenton, Strafford, Skyline, etc. And then teams like Eldo Springs and West Plains will lose top 5 seniors in SWMO to graduation. Hollister, Willow Springs, MV Liberty, Willard, Richland, Clever, Seneca and Dora are other decent teams that will lose a lot.

The loss of so many good players will shake things up a lot, especially in this area.

Strafford, Nixa, and Skyline have the young players coming up to sustain their run, though. So do some of the others to a lesser extent. Miller and Blue Eye probably take the biggest step back out of those teams listed.

Teams like Carl Junction, Fair Grove, Carthage, Ava, Republic, Mansfield, etc should move up in the pecking order given how good their underclassman are.

Did I leave anyone out?

Miller will take a step back for sure. They obviously wont be competitive with all the big schools they play now. They do however have 2 solid freshman coming in that will start right away. I think they will still be one of the better class 2 schools in the area next year.

I do agree that CJ and Carthage will be even better next year. The only issue CJ will have is depth. They will basically have 6 good players, so they can't take any injuries. It will also probably be the last year they are good for a while.

Webb has that 6-5 freshman who I am sure will improve a lot by next year. I just am not sure they will have the guards to get her the ball.
