What private schools do you see moving where?

Also if you're absolutely aware a team is moving to 8-man, let me know and I can adjust this.

Will J. C. be that big next year with the new Capital City high school starting varsity FB next year? Had heard rumors that J C would drop to 5 and CC would come in as a 4.

Also you need to take into account co-ops.

St. Joe Christian co-op with Northland Christian.
Maysville co-op with Winston.
Princeton co-op with Mercer.
Van-Far co-op with Community.
Lockwood co-op with Golden City.
Lone Jack co-op with Kingsville.
Sweet Springs co-op with Malta Bend.
Paris co-op with Faith Walk.
Stockton co-op with Sheldon.
Vashon co-op with Transportation and Law.
Bishop DuBourg co-op with Hancock

St. Joe Christian is co-oping with Northland Christian. They are also private so they should be bold.

Thank you. Hey, at least it doesn't have Licking, Arcadia Valley, and a ton of other schools that don't actually have football.

Reactions: O line wins games
You do need to double single gendered schools, so you need to double chaminade, vianney, DeSmet, priory, cbc
I think they were already doubled in the enrollment figures on MSHSAA. Only need to divide private schools by 1.35 from MSHSAA enrollment.

I went ahead and checked school websites on the larger single gender schools. Numbers should be accurate now.

My biggest question becomes which private schools will be moving, and how far?

I would guess Valle and Lutheran North move to Class 3. Trinity is likely Class 4. Ritter is anyone's guess. They've got an equal amount of good and bad years.

If they go with the 6/12 point proposal then my guess is Vianney, John Burroughs, Lutheran North and Valle Catholic all move up 1 class. If Calle beats Hayti then they will move up 2 classes

So it accomplishes nothing but moving Valle out of Class 1. Perfect.

I guess there's that, but I'm not sure how beneficial the change is if it really only impacts one school.
It impacts every school that is in Class 1. They don't have to face Valle in the playoffs. So it doesn't only impact Valle.

If they use 6/12 as the cut offs, Valle if already headed for class 3 regardless of what they do this year. LN would move up one but that just puts them back in class 2, their raw enrollment puts them in class 1. I believe JB would be going to class 3 also due to their earlier championships. I posted 5 year point totals but they have disappeared for some reason.

Correct. So like I said the new "Success factor" essentially does nothing.

Perfect...class 4 with a 1.89 differential from top to bottom. Almost twice as big but not quite. That would be like the top 15 schools from class 4 playing in class 6. Makes sense.

In theory Trinity and Cardinal Ritter could both be bumped to Class 4. Also I haven't adjusted for co-ops and teams moving to 8 man. Numbers will change.

Good work, so the talk is 64 in class 1 then 53 in the rest? Or will class 6 remain 32 and the rest of them divided between class 2-5. Either way should still see several schools move up. Will Webb then be class 5?

64 in class 1, 32 in class 6 (big schools are fighting for this).

Ritter has one Finals appearance and one Quarterfinals in the last 5 years. Trinity has two Finals visits, with one win, but hadn’t won Districts going back 5 years. JBS won State in 2015, but hasn’t won Districts since. Idk how they did in 2014. LN has three Quarterfinals wins (I think), 2 District titles, and whatever they get this season.

Uh huh, and I said "In theory those teams COULD make those jumps." Not that they would.

Trust me, we all know those teams have underperformed relative to their talent.

LN looked like a worthless team last night. Losing in the next game is a likely case

Can someone rehash the success factor explanation?
1 point for winning district
2 points for winning quarterfinal
3 points for winning semifinal
4 points for winning it all

Not a cumulative stat, so losing in the title game is 3 points not 6 for example.

Go back 5 years not counting this year.

Scales and points have not been finalized. Proposal I've seen is 6 points is the one class up bump, and 12 points is the two classes up bump.
