They should keep Springfield as a championship site for 3 or 4 classes and the others rotate St Louis and Kansas City every other year.

Missouri Southern...lots of hotels in Joplin. Webb only has to drive like 3 miles to get to the game.
I've been there for track meets. Bathrooms a little sketchy...but I didn't think it was bad overall.

MoSo should be included. Their facilities aren't great by any stretch but they would be adequate.

The rotations could be really cool: For example,
Class 1 and 2 at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO
Class 3 and 4 at MIssouri State
Class 8 and, 5 and 6 at Columbia
Next year:
Class 1 and 2 at Missouri Southern
Class 3 and 4 at Warrensburg, Central Mo
Class 8, 5 and 6 at Missouri State.
I'm leaving out St. Louis and KC for the most part, but you get the drift.
I actually think Joplin would be a pretty good host for the event. There is a lot more there than most people would think based on it's population. Ample hotels and a ton of restaurants both chains and unique local flavor. It's not centrally located but at the crossroads of two major interestates it's relatively easy to reach for many areas. Plus, I think many locals would attend some of the games even if they didn't have a team involved. Even more so if you happened to throw in some WC, Lamar, Mt Vernon or Seneca or others in the general area that might make a run.
The stadium at MSSU is a mixed bag but it's far from terrible. The main part of the stadium exterior and entrance is fairly worn and dated with the brown gravel covered panels that were so popular in the 70s. I think the half baked attempts and updating it with the vinyl wraps look pretty cheap but oh well. Beyond that, the layout, capacity, functionality are all pretty good in my opinion.

Missouri Southern announced today a new $1.3 million Jumbotron with a 66 foot wide screen with like a million pixels. Will be in place by the home opener.

MoSo is such a horrible place to watch a football game. I don't think it's possible to set any farther back away from the action.
