Will be in Liberty Week 1 hosting Lee's Summit.its coming
Ill be locked into GV games until the season is over and then once again on the KC playoff trail. Will be in Liberty Week 1 hosting Lee's Summit.
This upcoming Class 6 season in this area will be perhaps the most exciting and wide open ever! The only week I am up in the air at this two months to kickoff point is 2: Go a grand total of 8 miles down the way to Liberty North hosting Liberty or take a 3 hour trip down to Wardsville to see Blair Oaks host Lutheran North.Ill be locked into GV games until the season is over and then once again on the KC playoff trail.
I expect to be in the same town as you only week 6 until then unless things change. after week 1 i may tell ya week 2 might be a good option but i have my reservations. once off the GV trail I figure prolly be at same games
you are not kidding and i feel bad for the Trumans of C6This upcoming Class 6 season in this area will be perhaps the most exciting and wide open ever!
Yeah that will be extremely ugly.you are not kidding and i feel bad for the Trumans of C6
i agree but I have seen some changes that i want to see in live action before passing judgement. On the district side of things can throw darts on where we end up ( not to mention all the moving parts this year or possibility there of)Grain Valley looks 7-2 to me. District a total mystery who knows what MSHSAA will come up with................
Speaking of little nuggets. Those who like mid enrollment games C4 has a real nice one Savannah at Pleasant Hill. This could be a battle of conference champs (MEC and MRVC West).
Best looking 8 Man opener (these schedules in NWMO in particular did not flip) is Rock Port at Worth County.
Just a couple more little preseason nuggets...............
I know they lost quite a bit had lots of injury issues last year. Will defer to their folks for details but I have them down this year.Speaking of little nuggets.
Any word on what the Fort O team brings in
If it’s same as last year Grain Valley will be playing for 3rd place in districtGrain Valley looks 7-2 to me. District a total mystery who knows what MSHSAA will come up with................

Here we go with this webb BS again. Maybe MSHSAA will put PC in their district so we wont have to listen to this shit all year just to watch them not even be in the game from kickoffIf it’s same as last year Grain Valley will be playing for 3rd place in district
hate to hear that for them but something tells me Bult has them atleast in most games.Losing Thompson at Linebacker, a bona fide linebacker--one of the best in the metro. And linebacker Isaac Fields, another strong talent.
They also lose their 6'6 Tight end.
Good thing is they bring back Preston Brashear, a real dawg on the OL, should be around 285 this season. D Lineman Nathanial Parker, another great player at 250. Linebacker Isaac Ward is back--learned from some of the best. Undersized, but talented. But overall, I am hearing they are down on skills players--and will not be a banner year talentwise.
With Peppers basically injured all season Thompson played both ways and was their best player on both sides of the ball and you can't replace a kid like that.hate to hear that for them but something tells me Bult has them atleast in most games.
a lot of moving parts in GV this year if they solve the QB situation they will be competitive if not well more of can you stop the run when you know its coming like last year. regardless im sure fort will play GV closeWith Peppers basically injured all season Thompson played both ways and was their best player on both sides of the ball and you can't replace a kid like that.
They have some talent on offense I think but it's unproven and a lot will depend on how much their qb's develop. They'll always be solid on defense under Bult. My gut tells me they will beat the teams they should but not sure how they'll fare against Kearney, PC, GV and OP.
Maybe,,,but one things for sure they won’t have to worry about your boys,Here we go with this webb BS again. Maybe MSHSAA will put PC in their district so we wont have to listen to this shit all year just to watch them not even be in the game from kickoff
State will change things up big time.If it’s same as last year Grain Valley will be playing for 3rd place in district
Did you see their offense at Oak Park and Pius last season? That will have to immeasurably improve or.................Losing Thompson at Linebacker, a bona fide linebacker--one of the best in the metro. And linebacker Isaac Fields, another strong talent.

You have no idea how good GV is this year so thats a bold statementMaybe,,,but one things for sure they won’t have to worry about your boys,
I call them like I see them,, last year about this time I put a post up said “Webb hurtin for Certain” and bought all kinds of hell but it proved correct.
Good chance of seeing a Webb team this year that is at least close to their standards. I would think Nixa is the only regular season game they would not be favored in unless they lose 5-6 starters like last year.
I don't look for a lot from Oak Park FWIW that should be a winnable one. With Peppers basically injured all season Thompson played both ways and was their best player on both sides of the ball and you can't replace a kid like that.

Truth of the matter ALL our opinions are just speculation until this all kicks off in a couple of months. You have no idea how good GV is thisbyear so thats a bold statement
there is truth to that for sure however there are some knowns out there like WC getting a top tier player back. the losses can be known and key but there is still unknowns like how good is the replacement, who came in on the transfer portal. New wrinkles or whole new systems put in place.Truth of the matter ALL our opinions are just speculation until this all kicks off in a couple of months.
In general agree that is how we try to predict who will do what. My #1 variable is always those pesky "key" injuries. Were it all predictable would not bother with this greatest American sport................there is truth to that for sure however there are some knowns out there like WC getting a top tier player back. the losses can be known and key but there is still unknowns like how good is the replacement, who came in on the transfer portal.
