That is not terribly surprising, even being 300 miles away. I'm sure there are exceptions but I don't think private schools generally draw fans from the community so it's mostly just players families, some students, and maybe a few alum if they live in the area.

Better team won! 2 muffed punts and fumble! First half was a battle! A lot of hitting going on! The muffed punt on the first drives in the 3rd sucked the life out of Carthage! Great season!

Heard there was a bunch of Classless fans from Chaminade and even fans from there Drinking Beer and Hard Liquor at the game... Wow is all I can say if this is true the school needs to do something about it if they don't already know about it.

Oh kids will be kids with their chants! If I had some American Honey I would've drank some at halftime too! It was freaking cold and windy! Had snow flurries at the start of the game!

Sounded like simple but very costly mistakes got Tigers in a hole and probably doused their confidence like a wet blanket. Chaminade too potent to allow a comeback. For some reason losing to a private school has always rubbed me kinda the wrong way, but maybe it shouldn't. It just seems like when I've watched WC in the dome they were playing private schools and private schools seem to be disproportionately represented in the dome the few times I've been there. Regardless, Chaminade is a stellar team and it sounds like better team won from the bits I listened to on the radio.

Carthage had a great season and they should be proud!

Gutsy effort by Carthage. The Tigers led at end of 1st qtr, and score was tied with under a min to play in the 1st half until a late score by Chaminade gave them the halftime lead.

Poor execution on two punts really hurt the Tigers.

Gotta tip the hat to Chaminade, though. They played very very well. Their big backs and receivers literally dragged would be tacklers 10...15 yards or more before being brought down on several plays. Big, physical, skilled players.

Great job, Carthage coaching staff, players and fans. Awesome run. Nothing to hang your heads about this season.
