Yes, that was it. Was thinking that was one of the years when two teams advanced from each district, with 1 playing the 2 seed from the other district, and 2 playing the 1 seed from the other district.

07 was the last year they did the last three games of the year for districts. 08 was the first year they did what you are talking about. If they stayed with the 07 system in 08 Monett would probably have another state title
