Webb having to methodically move the ball on these drives. Willard has hit on a couple big plays, and like was mentioned came up with a big turnover early. Willard will get ball shortly coming out of the half, and if they can get a TD this thing will be interesting in a hurry.
Webb City stops Willard via interception and then a long TD run on the next play. Leads Willard 22-16 midway through the 3rd Quarter.
The good thing is with our horrendous district they can still sit out for another 6 weeks before we need the depth back.
Willard was pretty impressive honestly. Webb really grinded it at least this first 2 1/2 quarters. It's the same Willard that lost by 1 to republic who absolutely dominated Joplin tonight with all joplins 3 d1 offense guys playing full health
This is just making next years team better. Wish the seniors stopped having bad breaks each year though.
Im assuming it's a product of their offense but two years in a row it's freaking wild how many RB have got hurt for them . Last year it derailed them this year they are still hanging on but the talent difference is significant. I guess the only difference is Webb is real good up front
That's a good point. Gallardo, I believe, was a No. 3 or No. 4 on last year's team that was bumped to No. 1 due to injuries, and he never looked back. Shades of what Durman is doing now for them.
