Duck just asking, do you seriously think Biden or the Dem would have done anything different? What if Clinton had won do you think she would have done it differently? She loves China and is pretty much in bed with the banks. Not saying that what we got is perfect but it has to pass a democrat lead house.
Bullit: Actually this post and the 10T has nothing to do with congress nor Trump. It was the Fed. I didn’t say anything about Trump here. This post was about our government’s priorities. Between the Fed, the Treasury, the executive branch and congress it is clear, they want to maintain the wealth imbalance, they can’t go all in for every day Americans. Top priority, protect the shareholders. Give the little people just enough to fend off any chance of a revolution.
That’s what Obamacare was. Don’t give them single payer. Just set up a plan to make corporations rich by insuring more Americans.
To your point, which I was not addressing, do I think Clinton or Biden would have had more competent people in cabinet positions throughout the government to better manage this disaster? HELL YES.
Trump has a very large ego, he wants to be in charge of the wins, but blames others for the loses. Whoever Trump puts in charge is in an impossible position, if all goes well Trump will take the credit, if all goes wrong they get all the blame. I have known many people like him, I just wish at times his ego would just get out of the way and just let those he puts in charge just do their jobs, surprisingly he has hired good people at times. Do I think Jared is the right person to be in charge? I don't know, because every decision he makes I am sure will be based on trying to do exactly what he believes Trump wants him to do, and if it fails then I am sure he will take the on his full wrath, I would hate to be in his shoes because he cannot just leave being married to his daughter.
I would be willing to bet that she would have taken action sooner on getting tests and wouldn't be proud to stand in front of the American people and tell them he is the cheerleading backup, but that's hindsight. I can say with 100%
confidence she would not have her science people checking on injecting or ingesting Lysol.Our cheerleading backup has officially said the Virus will be gone before a vaccine is needed and by next year we will have a stronger economy than ever. As a predicter of the future he has a pretty poor record so I'm not holding my breath.
The mention of hiring good people is kind of funny because he then fired all of them and Jared is a good example why nepotism is frowned upon.
This post is tremendously misleading, and shows no understanding of what the Fed has actually done. The Fed makes loans. It makes these loans in secure situations so that markets don't fall apart. They aren't giving money away to companies like American Airlines. They are doing exactly what they are supposed to do - they're keeping the Treasury, mortgage, commercial paper, and muni bond markets open and running at no loss to the taxpayer.
They aren't able to address core issues that lead to unemployment, though. They can't create demand, and they can't force banks to make loans to businesses that are going to fail. You have to address Main Street through fiscal policy - namely, Congressional legislation. They can only act to keep the banking and financial systems functioning in a normal way that doesn't impose excess costs and hardships on Main Street.

I didn’t say they were giving away money.
I know the Feds role. And their top priority and the whole of government’s focus is always take care of corporate America’s needs first. Millions of people still have not received their $1200.
The first round of PPP was gobbled up by big companies who are loved by their banks.
They should be thinking more about how to make PPP better and more targeted. They’ve had time.
