It appears Hillary Clinton was a heavy favorite in the 2016 presidential election but Don Trump beat the odds and won.

Hillary Clinton called on her supporters to except the election results the next day after the 2016 election. Clinton also said, " Don Trump is going to be our President and we owe him an open mind and owe him a chance to lead.

Now let's fast forward to Nov. 7, 2020 and see how Don Trump is reacting to his defeat by Joe Biden. Does anyone see a difference in the character of these two losing candidates?

Most Republicans are stating " I am an American first " and a Republican second however some are Republican first and American second.

Ok. I know this isn't about football but I have a question. I heard about a Coach in volleyball who's team is headed to state, who just came down with Covid. The team is still able to go to state. Just wonder how that can be. If a player comes down with covid the season is over for the team. Trying to understand the difference.

The lines were very long ( About an hour plus wait ) Everyone was very polite on the outside and wearing a mask, everyone in the building was required to wear masks. I voted a split ticket but voted for Joe Biden for president. I voted for Don Trump in 2016 because we needed a change. I'm sure Missouri will go Republican this year but there were lots of 20-25 year old's voting.

Most posters have had their say about the Trump-Biden ticket. It appears to me this crap board has very informed people voting today however some will vote for party regardless of the crimes attached to the party. I have seen only one poster predicting a Trump win today and that was Chris Gardner. Do we have others predicting Trump to be reelected?

It appears the ' House of Representatives " will have the responsibility of selecting our next President.

I'm not sure if this would be fair for Don Trump since the House is controlled by Democrats. A tie is possible.

i can see Don Trump and the Republicans not on board with the constitution on this one. Don Trump has stated on many occasions " He is a Constitution Dude "

It appears Fauci does not agree with Trump's statement of " America is rounding the corner " in the fight against Covid-19. We as Americans know Don Trump's answer for disagreements, Yes Trump wants him fired. Federal law states Trump does not have the power to fire one of the most trusted " Disease Experts on the planet ". I'm guessing most Republicans will stand with Trump on this one if he defeats the odds and is reelected for a second term.

Don Trump did indeed lie to the America people concerning Covid-19 back in January-February and called it a " Democrat Hoax " the non informed believed him. Since then Trump has stated he knows more the the experts concerning Covid-19 and most of his flock believe the " World's greatest lier".

America go to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 3 to decide if we want Don Trump as president for four more years or to fire him. Trump is an underdog in most key states for his reelection however Trump is telling his flock, we are winning,

The Stock market is up big today after big declines last week. The Democrats are saying the reason for today's stock market increase is because Biden is favored to be our next president. Stock market increases usually do better under Democrats then Republicans if we judge over the last 30 plus years however America is in a different position following Don Trump. Nobody trust our elected official any more. I'm not sure any President can guide us out of the mess were are in.

It seems we are moving back to a "phase 1" environment very soon if we follow Europe again, and that sucks.
I have bad feeling the winter sports are going to get postponed until the spring, including college sports possibly.
I know up until this point you had 4 years to complete your MSHSAA eligibility..Will parents and their kids decide to stay back another year if given the choice?
I don't think many of us thought that was going to be the case earlier on this year, but now with the NCAA giving an extra year of eligibility to all the athletes it changes the game.
Most high schoolers want to get out, but I would say the opposite is true in college. Most of us would have chose to stay in college another year if it was being paid for.
So where are the scholarships going to be for incoming freshman?
If MSHSAA reverses that 4 year rule, will the floodgates open and you have a domino effect all the way into the middle schools of kids staying another year. I would think they are well aware of the NCAA decision and the impact that has on the 2021 high school graduating class.

According to resent Polling Don Trump and his family is more corrupt then Joe Biden and his family.

The America people have a choice next Tuesday on the above. If voters believe the above, Some degree of Corruption will be in the White House unless the House and Senate does their job of " holding Accountability for either Trump or Biden. It appears to me we need new people in both the House and Senate who will vote for what is right instead of voting for the party. The incumbents should be voted out based on their past record of party voting.

Just read 3 schools close to Columbia Missouri have closed their schools for 2 weeks to many teachers tested positive. They will not start sports until Nove 4 that means no districts in any fall sport. South Calloway, Versailles, New Bloomfield. That is just the start of things to come. The virus is getting worse as the weather gets colder and we are stuck inside.
