MSHSAA and Streaming Control

I know they are greedy at MSHSAA, but this horrible. I would love to watch many games in KC and around the state like I do now on a Friday night. But to pay $10 a game is ridiculous. Is it because of revenue or crowd attendance. With that being said, is there a package where you could all the games, not just one game at a time? Now I am crazy enough where I will probably pay for a few games, but I wish I could have my own "Red Zone Channel" where I can go from game to game like I do during the regular season.

CJ @ Center

I'm curious how Center stacks up against the COC gauntlet that CJ has gone through? Are they closer to the elites Nixa/Joplin/Webb or closer to a Republic/Neosho(about where I think they are)... Or even a Ozark/Branson that has played an easy schedule??? After CJ's blowing out a 5-4 Grandview team last weak, I would think that some in the KC area might at least pump the breaks a bit on Center walking to a District Title.

NWCMO Playoff Challenge Round 2

After the wackiest first round I can ever remember what does this one portend?:

Albany at East Atchison
Carl Junction at Center
Chillicothe at Savannah
Fair Grove at Warsaw
Macon at Richmond
Milan at Putnam County
Nevada at Lincoln Prep
Norborne at Sweet Springs
North Platte at Mid Buchanan
Park Hill vs. Park Hill South
Platte County at Oak Park
Raymore-Peculiar at Nixa
Schuyler County at Santa Fe
Sherwood at Adrian
South Callaway at Lincoln
St. Pius X at Maryville
Stewartsville at Braymer
Windsor at Butler

Looking, as of today, like I will get back out to games this week heading to Oak Park's new on campus field for what should be one of those dandy regular season rematches. As of now no Thursday games scheduled so the deadline for entries is again 7 PM FRIDAY. Week 1 was very tight so nobody is nearly out of contention. The best parts about this year so far are having all these inter-regional games plus so many regular season rematches. GOOD LUCK everyone..............

MSHSAA weather reports

I forgot they put those on the bracket links.

For Thayer at Marionville Game:

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1am and 4am, then a chance of showers after 4am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 41. South wind 13 to 16 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

NWCMO Playoff Challenge mid Friday PM update

Three games have moved to tomorrow:

Windsor at Butler 1 PM
South Callaway at Lincoln 1 PM (per Mowestdad and MSHSAA)
Sherwood at Adrian 3 PM

Will update if more change. Given this stats will be late tomorrow afternoon (I have Breeders Cup plans so will be checking very occasionally until 5 PM or so).

THREE players from last week (Anti-BS, ChaoticFanatic, panther72) have yet to submit picks please do so by 7 PM. It appears if KC area games move they will be later tonight not tomorrow (so far).

Playoff Proposal

I put together what Districts would've roughly looked like if the classes were broken down with Class 6 having 48 and Class 1 having 48. I didn't number the districts according to geographical location because I would propose after the district champions are crowned, to then seed 1-8 and have a bracket from there. I know travel becomes the issue, but it would only be for 2 games. You may get 2 top teams in a district, but I think for the most part year in and year out the best teams will be playing at the end. Let me know what you think.

Cut off for each class:
Class 1 - 185
Class 2 - 322
Class 3 - 497
Class 4 - 819
Class 5 - 1211
