#4 Osceola Indians (2013 Record:
12-2)[/B]

Senior
Driston Self
(5-10 165)
returns as the centerpiece of a very talented Osceola football team. Self
passed for 928 yards and 8 touchdowns, directed the offense, and did much of the
damage for the Indians on the ground where he rushed for 1,610 yards and 28
touchdowns.

The Indian offense will be without Trevor
Dean, a 1300 yard rusher, but will return junior
Drew Carney
(6-1 175)
who averaged more than 7 yards-per-carry a season ago. Senior
Dallas Self
(6-0 165)
returns as the top receiving threat after catching 28 passes for 525 yards and a
pair of scores. Junior Zach Carney(5-6 140) gained valuable experience as a
sophomore and returns as well.

The Indian defense will be solid with the return of 8 of the
top 12 tacklers in 2013. Zach Carney piled up 133
tackles, while junior defensive lineman Marek Thompson(6-2 260)
added 99 tackles. Junior nose guard Ephraim Yoder(5-8 170)
added 98 tackles. Senior linebacker Nick Carney(5-7 155)
compiled 79 tackles. Senior Luke Self(5-10 200) returns at defensive end,
he led the Indians with 8 sacks.

Favorites in the WEMO Conference, the Indians advanced to the
semifinal round where they fell to eventual champion Valle Catholic a season ago
and with a little luck, good health, and a few breaks this year they can advance
the next step!
