Most combined wins by opposing coaches?

On December 8, Fort Zumwalt South faced Borgia. FZS Coach Bill Friedel entered the game with 489 career wins and Borgia Coach Dave Neier 788. Did that set a record for combined wins with 1277?

Also, what other current STL-area boys basketball coaches are over 400 career wins? I am guessing it's a short list.

Sikeston's Gregg Holifield is approaching 600 career wins and they faced off against Borgia last January in the Union Tourney. So he would've been firmly in the 550 range when those teams met. Both of those teams are in the Union Tourney again this year so you could see another matchup in January.

I gotta think there were a couple of KC Central vs. Raytown South games back in the 90s with Jack Bush and Bud Lathrop coaching. Lathrop had 800 in 1998 (finished with 955), and Bush retired in 2003 with nearly 800.

They met in the '99 sectionals, so I'm guessing there were probably 1,500 combined victories on that court.
