Last night FZS defeated the host Crusaders 55-41 to win the St. Dominic/Chick-fil-A Christmas Tournament for the first time since 2014. The win was the 450th for Head Coach Bill Friedel, with 393 coming at FZS after coaching several years at the now-defunct Kennedy High School in West St. Louis County.
Coach Friedel is also the head football and baseball coach. Last season he coached the baseball Bulldogs to a fourth-place finish in Class 5.
