Should MSHSAA go back to 4 Team 16 team Districts?

1. Will Eliminate travel in Districts, Sectionals and Some Quarterfinals
2. Gives some of the best teams out of a district against other good Teams, example South Shelby and Bowling Green are good teams in Class 2, Both Teams deserve a District title for their efforts this year!!!
3. Less Huge Blowouts in districts

I know the complaint is always about blowouts and safety, but I still think you have blowouts in 4 team districts. I look at D7 and D8 in Class 3. In D8, if all 3 of those teams play Macon, everyone of them would turbo clock them. In D7, SoBo might be the only team that doesn't get turbo clocked by BO. There is always going to be blowouts, there is no way around it.

My big change that I would like to see is every class has 8 districts and then the district champions are reseeded 1-8. I don't know exactly the best way for the seeding to take place, but could make for some better state championship games.

I've said it for awhile that 16 districts in Class 2 through 5, 8 districts in Class 1 & 6 make the most sense.

I love the win and go on format. But making this current week - District Championship week and next week would be Sectionals and the actual start of the playoffs would be such a better thing to promote.
