He's long dead. IMO, were he still alive, using contemporary jokes would be crushed today by the social warriors on college campuses.

Chris Rock no longer tries. I don't see a path for Carlin.

This is just a hypothesis and it's unprovable.

My son is a professional comedian. It doesn't make me an expert, but I have a good idea.
