what do you think the Birds postseason roster will be? My guess, different answer for most.

IF--Cruz, Easley, Adams, Moss, Reynolds, Wong, Peralta, Marp, Garcia
OF--Piscotty, Pham, Holiday, Heyward, Grichuck
P--Lackey, Garcia, Lynn, Wacha, Waino, Seigrest, Maness, Broxton, Chisek, Rosie, Lyons

Birds
Jay for Pham, Koz for Garcia, Villenueva for Lyons, and Choate for Moss (giving 12 pitchers). Jay and Villenueva get the scholarships for the year.

If Jay and Choate make this roster I will be very upset, but I believe they will both be on it and nobody in the Cardinal's organization will bother to ask me. I also don't believe that Chisek should be on it. Socolovich out pitched him.

I like most of this guy's thinking.
I will admit, at this point Moss "looks"
better at the plate than Adams.

Adams was not hitting well at all before his
injury. The shift is in his head and he needs to be willing to lay down some bunts.

Garcia has disappointed in the field.
His hands aren't very good. Shocking for
a coach's son.

Most of the past 15 years I have expected the Birds to win big in the playoffs. I don't expect it this year. I didn't expect it in 2006. That year was a shock. Despite the record, with the way we hit and the current situation with Wacha and Lynn, it will be pretty shocking if we win it all.

With Mo's ego I will be shocked if the roster does not include all of the people he dealt for before the deadline.
