Yadi has gone from 1 for 21 to Johnny Bench

In one week. But the real Wong has returned.
I was wondering why folks on here are badmouthing Molina hitting in the middle of the order. Who else on THIS team should be hitting where he is? Oh and DeJong ain't lookin too bad for a guy to hit behind Goldy.

Yadi has been a pretty good hitter for the last 2 or 3 years. My question was who on THIS roster should hit in his spot? You can expand that to who anywhere in the Cardinals organization at this point should be hitting in his spot. He IS gonna be in the lineup so where would YOU put him in the order?

Like I said, if we are a really good offensive team those boys hit 6th and 7th. Not 3rd and 5th. Tonight was the most runs we have scored in 7 or 8 games.

I guess we could trade for Machado and Harper and put them in there.

The other night I think they put Martinez third against the lefty, then the lefty got hurt in the second inning and that hosed up that plan.

Goldschmidt, Ozuna, Dejong, JMart, O'Neill (the only one you can make an argument against)...but then again...the puppet would have to pencil in the right lineup. Yadi is fine, but he's not a middle of the order hitter. Especially at this point in his career. He's literally the perfect 6/7 hole guy though. I'm done with Fowler. Time to start playing JMart. Makes the lineup a lot better. Give Fowler 100 PAs. If he's still swinging a garden hose, give JMart the same consistent 100 PAs.

Man, I'm telling you. That sell job the club did with the help of the local media was borderline embarrassing. It wasn't cult level stuff, but it was really close.
Yes, yes it was. I said it before, Shildt got off easy last year with Fowler getting hurt. We'll see how it goes now. JMart has proven he can rake. The pressure will start to build..

I would think they can play martinez 3 games out of four. Let Dex play the other game and sub in late for "defense" when it wont kill the team.

Fowler won't even run for a ball in the corner or the gap. He seems to be extremely laid back out there for some reason. I don't know why hitters/baserunners don't just keep running on anything hit his way if it's to either side on him cause he sure doesn't get in a any hurry to get to it.
