That’s interesting, my fear would be that with double the teams the quality may go wayyyy down. But we’ll have to wait and see
If the NFL buys it it's going to be developmental anyway, but yeah I think any more than 10 or 12 teams and you'll see a decline in the product.
I wish they would put a team in Chicago which would give St. Louis a natural rival.

Is Vince McMahon even interested in selling to the NFL? I think that would be the opposite of what I would expect him to do.When he originally started the XFL back up amid the Kaep controversy in 2017-18 it was to be an alternative to the NFL. "A league where everyone stands for the anthem, just like God intended." I've also read where he sold off enough WWE stock to float the league for at least 3 years, I think he has every intention of making this a completely stand alone league.
I would say at this very moment the biggest threat to the XFL is totally unrelated to football. There's a firefighters pension fund in Oklahoma that purchased a large amount of WWE stock who took issue with WWE selling a lot of I.P. for pennies on the dollar to the XFL, which is technically a completely separate enterprise from WWE. Essentially what Vince did was sell WWE licensed things, the biggest example being music, to the XFL for far below market value. The pension fund thinks that I.P. should be worth millions of dollars more than the XFL actually gave for it. Given that WWE stock is currently tanking and every line item on their earnings report is of the upmost importance I think the pension fund has a pretty good case so it would be interesting to see how that would affect the XFL.
The Anthem is weak, isnt even a good song, very dramatically written and overstated. Plus the 2nd verse is kind of Gross.
I have stayed FIRMLY seated many times that song has been played!!

Was a poem first....but it's way better than the lame and weak God Bless America or America the beautiful.Both those songs are lame as heck and don't display strength,glory or power in anyway. They represent the hippy dippy star gazing do nothing American, not the World Power get things done American who is ready to sacrifice for his or her country.
