Dear lord...You weren't kidding. Those are awful. A little treat below. Seeing that they just drilled SIU in this game reminded me of the epic Barry Hinson rant. Relive below if you like. Man, that dude can liven up a presser.
I remember when he was at SMSU and I was at a camp and heard him talking about his players putting a watermelon in a hotel microwave..funny.
That dude is just one funny human being. And probably a seriously underrated hoops coach.
That was an epic rant. So many good one liners. As good or better than Shumate and Spoon.
About rebounding: "Been telling my wife this for years, size doesn't matter"
The wife again about big man going 2-11: "My wife, MY WIFE would shot fake at least once."
Players falling down for no reason: "Sniper!"

I bet a lot of Mo State fans would take Barry back right now. He might not win much more but he would definitely create more excitement.
I loved him. My last two years were his first two. Teams played really hard and were fun to watch. And he's not vanilla, that's for sure. Full of personality. Got to know him a little bit through a job I had while in school. First rate guy...Funny thing, look at his record at SMS compared to Alford, Martin, and Lusk. Only one guy sticks out of the group. And only one guy has been fired. Not the same guy. However, that could change soon I guess.
