It will totally disgust me if our choices in '24 are Biden and Trump. I will refuse to vote for either one and I guess waste my vote on the best 3rd party or independent candidate.

If it happens, I believe the time is right for a young, likeable, moderate, independent candidate to have a legit chance.

Now that is the biggest fantasy ever.....a popular 3rd party candidate will only ensure one of the main party candidates wins, not enough independent or Libertarian voters to elect a 3rd party Prez.

A 3rd party candidate will only siphon off of one party or the other and that would insure a victory for the other party, splitting votes between that party and the 3rd party candidate.

(And now the Supreme Court is following suit) Voting in Congress is now a mere formality and a foregone conclusion on the outcome. Hell, if you cross party lines on a vote, you become a pariah in your own party. It hasn't always been that way to the degree that it is today. And with the division in our country,, I don't see it changing.

This seldom happens. For example, on most of the hot topics of today Joe Manchin is providing cover for other corporate Dems in the senate. They don’t want to get rid of the filibuster but they claim their support for it and let Manchin take the heat. He is safe in WV for doing so. And they stay safe with progressives who all blame Manchin.

You just have to watch the political ads today to see they don't want you voting for what you believe in, but what scares you!! Both sides are running ads about what will happen not if they are elected.. but what will happen if they are not. It is like the great apocalypse is coming if the other person from another party is elected.

We have more people coming thru our neighborhood now than ever before who are running for office knocking on doors. I have asked several what they stand for and the first thing they go into is what will happen to this great country if they are not elected. I asked one, can you just tell me what you are actually running for...he basically said to make sure the radical left does not win...okay good and all but why? What makes you better what are you going to do for me and you are running for county tax collector dang it...LOL

And what the hell is Ted Cruz on the air in Missouri? Eric Schmitt lost my vote over that, anybody who thinks Cruz is good for this country is crazy, that coward bailed on his own state during a power crisis, so doesn't give me any warm and fuzzies knowing he thinks Schmitt will be good for us..first crisis he will be out of country with Cruz.
