I think its been the 1930s since a team that has won the national championship also lost a game in September. It was a bad loss and I thought it was going to be a long year. But when you find your identity and have the same starting front 5 the entire season...it does wonders. Can anybody name the last National Champion with a loss worse than Ohio States' to Virginia Tech? I know we've had a few in the last few years that lost a game or even two, but normally to ranked teams. Just wondering.
