the opposing school that had the one point is a tiny town in my coverage area. I have not been to one of their games, but it is my understanding that they have only five or six boys out for basketball. They have struggled for several seasons, but I give credit to the boys that did go out for basketball. Throwing in the towel is easy, knowing what you will be facing for the season and still continuing is a sign of character to me.

I'm sure the 64 was merciful too. I remember being at a game where the bad team sat in zone, but played no defense and would chuck a shot up in the first 10 seconds of every possession. The winning team didn't play a starter in the second half and they still got over 100 prior to 4th quarter. There was no press and not even half court trapping defense. Final score of low end was in 30's I believe.

They also had games where they just scored 6, 8, 9.
Doesn't look like some of their fellow conference opponents let off the gas much on offense.
