Crazy. Republic had just beaten #1 Class 5 Jeff City and earlier had beaten #1 Class 3 Strafford. Would have likely beat Strafford twice except for Fronabarger getting another torn ACL before the second game.

Just goes to show once again that anything can and does happen in girls basketball. Willard isn't a bad team but on paper Republic had to be the favorite in that game. If any team out there has played a tougher schedule than Republic has this season, I'd like to see it.

It’s crazy, but games like this happen a lot in girls basketball! You just don’t see this happening in boys basketball like you do girls and I’m not sure why.
