Do the cardinals have to win a series against a winning team or just a game for him to come back?

I thought it was a game. If it's a series, poor dude could be gone a while! My 83 win prediction isn't looking too good at the moment.

Welcome to the real world everybody. Cards won't win every year.

So should we be ok with it when they don't?

Btw...If MM is quite the manager you and your neighbor think he is...Birds will be just fine.

Cespedes if off to a nice start. We sure could have used him and packaged up some others for a starting pitcher that doesn't spring a "Leake".

Seriously...How bad has that guy been??? Got to think he and Waino will somewhat level out. In no way do I think Waino will be Waino, but he won't be a 1.70 WHIP guy either. And Leake surely will get the sinker back at some point. He's got 5+ years that shows he's not nearly THIS bad...Fun fact. Birds have two guys with 1+ OPS. One hits leadoff when he's in the lineup, and the other hits 8th. Meanwhile two of the guys that are consistently in the middle of the lineup have OPS south of .750.

I'm a little annoyed with the TV and radio people acting like Waino's issues are just mechanics. He is 34 coming off an Achilles.
Dan Marino played after his Achilles, but he was never close to being the same.

I'm not sure why we have to keep starting Grichuk against the top righties in the league. That's not really helping his confidence.

Adams and Moss have to be getting tired of the inconsistent PT. I sure liked it when Carp batted third.

The Waino thing baffles me too. Surely the Birds brass didn't think he'd be his 2008-2014 self?

I'm not sure why Grichuck keeps getting the starts, or keeps hitting in the middle of the order. Drop him, let him catch some fastballs vs lefties, and see if it gets him on track. That dude is as clueless as a hitter can get right now.

The Adams/Moss thing is going to have to be figured out in a month or so. I don't see any scenario where both are on the roster. Peralta and Pham will both be back by June. Not sure what happens then, but some guys need to separate themselves from the pack.

As compared to the previous years you gave him zero credit on?

That upper deck bomb by Waino was like a lightning bolt through the whole team. He said he has been dreaming of hitting the ball like that since he was 8 years old.
