Will Grier(Florida QB), Suspended 365 days for PED use....

Yeah mizzou Florida game may have been a 3-3 tie with that other QB. Name escapes?

Treon Harris is the other young'n. He was suspended earlier this year. I believe he started the first game of the year.

Florida staff knew it Thursday and he still played. What is it with scumbag coaches down in Fla?

They should have just suspended him indefinitely instead of for a year???

You really think the coaches delayed the suspension until after the Missouri game but they don't need him for the LSU game? Child please.

I know you're butthurt over OU once again being exposed but do your research.
Child, indeed. Stop your pouting.

:rolleyes::D

Lol. No, not real happy about choking against our rival....... but whining about Florida suspending a player for a year when you have a QB on indefinite suspension until apparently you figure out if the starter is going to work out is pure gold. No touchdowns against UConn and Florida and spurrier apparently thinks when you lose to the Tigers this year it is time to retire.:D

FWIW, they knew way before Thursday. The 'B' sample has to be sent out for testing on a positive 'A' sample result. That takes a while.

Wouldn't have impacted our game, but the Tenorsea loss is another matter.

You mean they waited until the full results came back to make a decision?

As required. Don't try and read anything into it, just getting it out there that Florida did nothing wrong by playing him. The Tennessee comment only means if he wasn't playing it probably would have changed that result. They could have played the 3 knees and punt strategy against us and won last week.

Does anyone else feel like 365 days is a really steep penalty for this kid? I mean in the NFL a first time PED offense is 4 games. This kid gets 13 times the discipline. Seems sort of backwards to me. Assuming his story is true (that he used some over the counter thing that had a PED in it and he didn't know it) this penalty seems even more harsh. Sure he should have taken whatever supplements he planned on taking to his trainers/team doctors to have them check them out first, but should he really be punished that hard for making a mistake?

Nah. With better field position Baggett likely would have made a couple more FGs. Lol.

No. If the NFL really wanted to put a stop to it they'd have much harsher penalties.

Read up on the OT for Georgia who is just now getting to play after testing positive in 2010. It was in his fatty tissue and actually had surgery to remove tissue to try and pass a pee test. They wouldn't clear him until he was below the required levels(of whatever it was he failed for).

That is insane.

Is this the same Treon Harris that was accused of sexually assaulting a female student? Could be mistaken. #glasshouse

Oh and I thought he started the New Mexico game. After all he did play the FIRST three offensive series......
